| Born 6th March 1906 in Ireland (Eire), son of John and Norah O'Connor. Husband of Alice O'Connor (née BUCK) of 15 Church Street, Great Missenden,
Buckinghamshire In the 1939 register, a public works contractor's labourer, he was at 15 Church Street with widow Alice BUCK [29/4/1906], who he married in Amersham in 1941. His widow later married William MILLS in Amersham in 1947. Stationed at Lower Hare Park, Dullingham, he was run over by a car on the Newmarket to Cambridge Road (in the parish of Burwell) on 14th October 1945, dying due to his injuries the following day in White Lodge Emergency Hospital, Newmarket.
